During my trip to Bosnia last month, I found this beautiful wool at the Autopijaca market in Sarajevo and decided to bring some home. The wool comes from Pramenka sheep, a local breed known for their thick, warm fleece. Local makers still spin this wool into yarn using traditional techniques. I love looking for unique materials at local markets when I travel. Finding something special along the way and turning it into something of my own makes the whole creative process even more fun and meaningful to me.
